And that’s why Winkelmann Flowforming is part of a global family business that was founded in 1898. Back then, Heinrich Winkelmann and Caspar Pannhoff produced raw products for the enamel industry. Today, Winkelmann Group GmbH & Co. KG with its three divisions — Automotive, Building + Industry, and Flowforming — is one of the leaders in the field of metal forming in a wide range of industrial sectors. And we, at Winkelmann Flowforming, are a proud and ambitious part of the group.
Group dynamics help make the Flowforming team even more lean and efficient: We benefit from being part of a global group but are free to focus entirely on our core competency. And Winkelmann Metal Solutions — our innovative service provider for material management, scheduling and logistics covering all aspects of steel — supports us with the best prices and optimal performance.
The extension continues!With the successful acquisition of the companies K&H Zerspanung and LaserTeam from Gallin. We are further expanding our know-how of machining components and laser welding. Another important step to offer our customers complete assemblies ready-to-install.
Meet the extremes...
The company Stöhr Armaturen from Königsbrunn becomes part of the Flowforming family.
As a manufacturer of high-performance valves, the company has developed a high level of know-how in valve technology, especially deep-freezing technology, in connection with vacuum technology and media compatibility. Therefore we are well prepared for future applications, e. g. hydrogen technology.

That's Turkish and means: Welcome, colleagues! In 2022, Winkelmann Otomotiv Parçalari joins our flowforming team. In addition to Ahlen and Auburn, we now have a third location in northeastern Turkey: Ergene in the province of Tekirdağ.
Go west! There is demand for flowforming in the US market too.
We found Winkelmann Flowform Technology, LP based in Auburn, Alabama. Together, we are strong and in great shape.
The name says it all …
We acquired Metall-Spezialrohr GmbH (MSR) in Ahlen, Germany. And since then, the company proudly bears the name Winkelmann MSR Technology.
Winkelmann Dynaform Technik GmbH was founded (following the acquisition of the Dynaform company in Troisdorf a year earlier). This resulted in a leap in know-how.
Just one year later, we won second place in the Steel Innovation Award (Research & Development category) — and that against global competition!
Pioneering work: We began with series production of the first-ever flowformed clutch housing.
The future is cold worked: Our predecessor, Winkelmann & Pannhoff GmbH, took its first metal spinning machine into operation.
After just two years, we were able to offer flowforming to the market.
